I was 12 yrs old when I started showing symptoms of my Bipolar. I was put in the psychiatric unit at the hospital for depression. That’s when they knew something was wrong.
As I got older about 14, I thought I was the reincarnation of Elvis, and I missed the 50′s and my music… except really I was born in 1978. I actually wanted to kill myself so I could go back to the 50′s because I missed it so much. I started having memories of my life in Graceland and my shows I had on stage. I felt like I had gone crazy. I collected everything I could that was Elvis – dolls, replicas of his cars, music, and anything else about Elvis I could find.
Anyway, I finally got over that when I was around 16 years old. Thank God! Right now I am 31 and I think it was my Bipolar. I have a lot of crazy stories. If anyone would like to hear them or talk about them or even talk about theirs, please visit my blog Your Bipolar World.
